Dan Soulsmith’s Wedding Jam

In 2013 I’ll be pushing the Wedding Jam brand to venues in Manchester. I hooked up with Liverpool based Wedding Jam head honcho Paul McGuire a couple of years ago through our shared passion for liquid Drum & Bass, both of us previously having ‘worked’ for our hero LTJ Bukem as his Press Officer. Small world! So with our shared Merseyside roots, a love of deeper D&B, and of good old fashioned party music… We look forward to expanding Wedding Jam, while making a lot of people happy on their big day.

In the words of Wedding Jam’s founder…

“The Wedding Jam DJs are amongst the best in the business. From the most intimate weddings to the stages of the biggest festivals, they’ve done it all. Between them they cover all musical bases; from pop classics to obscure funk, it’s all here. It’s not a boy’s club either, Wedding Jam also boast two ladies who can rock the decks as well as the guys.

All the Wedding Jam DJs are lovely people who will put you and your music first. They’ll consult with you and tailor their service to fit the needs of your big day. You can give us a playlist of your favourite sounds or just leave us to use our experience when choosing the music, it’s up to you.

Wedding Jam Banner 01Not only has he got the ideal name for DJing, Dan Soulsmith has spent over 14 years playing the full spectrum of dance music to the party people of Manchester. From the best bars and clubs in the city, to plenty of private parties and events, Dan has been there, done that. He expertly spins feel-good vibes from his broad collection of music, including soul, funk, reggae, hip hop, disco and house, along with a touch of classic ’70s and ’80s rock and pop. His collection covers so much musical ground, and Dan always makes sure to liaise with the customer to get to know them properly, so his sets are sure to keep you grooving from the first tune to the last.”
